I received some products for review from our folks from Sakura a while back. Admittedly, I tend to stick to products I find effective for a long time and try to avoid wastage by using up my current favorites before opening a new lot. Thus, it took me a while to get my hands on some of the hand and foot care products that arrived in the mail. I specifically road-tested the Sakura Foot and Heel Lotion and Sakura Hand and Nail Cream, because (so sorry for the TMI) my feet are really really dry and rough from all the shoe abuse and endless walks in Makati. They're actually fugly!

Sakura Foot and Heel Lotion
- Smells very clean
- Light consistency that's easily absorbed by the skin
- Deodorizing effects
- Not enough moisture for my very rough, dry feet
Sakura Foot and Heel Lotion is an okay product. It can solve minor dryness, especially for the "back" of the feet and around the toes, but I need more moisture to help with the rough heels and balls of my feet.
Sakura Hand and Nail Cream
- Good moisturizing properties
- I find this useful for my nails; good to use after getting manicure and pedicure
- Keeps my nails moisturized and healthy looking
- The smell can be improved; it smells a medicine-y which doesn't appeal to me very much
I think the Sakura Hand and Nail Cream performs better as a nail product, and so that's what I use it for. I bring it with me when I get my nails done, and ask the technician to apply this after cleaning and before applying nail polish.
I'm currently testing the Black Beauty Shampoo they sent. It's too early to tell, but on an "after-shampoo effect" basis, the Black Beauty Crystal Anti-Dandruff Shampoo seem to be faring well. My hair stays soft and smooth despite its anti-dandruff properties known to make the hair dry. Will post about it next!

Cheers to well-pampered hands and feet!
