Still speaking of my day job, because quite frankly this is the only eventful part of my life these days, I've been fortunate to be part of the team who worked on the successful John Walker and Sons Voyager event held in Oceana, SM Mall of Asia Compound last October 29.
The
luxury yacht gathered Manila’s crème de la crème to experience the pinnacle of
luxury craftsmanship, heritage and modern innovation, and launch the new rare
triple malt, JOHN WALKER AND SONS ODYSSEY.
While I'm perfectly fine with my mojitos and margaritas, and as I'm yet to develop a taste for seriously fine whisky, witnessing the Johnnie Walker event alone left me with so much awe and inspiration from the game-changing heritage left by the Walker family.
Making the Philippine stop of the Voyager even more special, John Walker and Sons celebrated and paid tribute to four outstanding Filipino game changers – Business magnate and social entrepreneur Joey Concepcion (man behind Selecta, RFM and so much more), Fashion genius Rhett Eala, world-renowned furniture designer Kenneth Cobonpue (he designs furniture for no less than Brad Pitt), and award-winning film maker Brillante Mendoza. I was truly humbled before their presence.

Big hugs to the EON-Diageo Team! I'm so proud of you, good jjjooooeeeb! No wonder you were seated in the "game changers" table! :D
